About Me

​    This is my fifth year teaching, and I am happy to be at Corner Canyon High School! I have a passion for teaching and am proud to be a charger. I want to tell you a little about myself! 
      I haven't ventured far from home as I'm starting my career. I grew up in Farmington Utah. My family still lives there. I attended Davis High School and had an amazing time there. After graduating, I started college at the University of Utah. I attended for one semester before leaving on a mission for the LDS church to the state of Washington. I came back and picked up were I left off at the University of Utah. I loved my time at the U. I am a HUGE Utah fan. I never missed a game and am filled with school pride. While there I studied Exercise and Sports Science and Biology. I fell in love with teaching and the subjects I studied. This has lead me to teaching the Health Science Classes as well as Biology here at Corner Canyon! I enjoy watching, playing, and participating in many different sports. I love to wakeboard, snowboard, run, lift and play golf. I still regularly play in basketball leagues. I also love to read and enjoy spending time with my family.
      While in college I spend a significant amount of time coaching. Throughout my entire college career I coached high school basketball at Syracuse High School. I have been everything from a sophomore assistant coach to the JV head coach. I love all the young men I coached while at Syracuse. I spent and amazing 6 years coaching at that school and value the associations I made there! I am a part of the basketball program here at CCHS, I coach the sophomore team here at the school!
       My coaching at Syracuse lead to me meeting my wife. Her name is Ricki, she is a Syracuse High graduate. We started dating and were quickly married in February of 2013. We have been having all kinds of fun since then traveling, hiking and making memories. On the home page of this website, I included a picture of one of our favorite places to travel, Lake Tahoe. She is currently in Physical Therapy school and is very close to graduating! 
      I love teaching at Corner Canyon High School. We have amazing, hard working and dedicated students at this school. I am excited to share my passion with you!
